Position Duties:

Works Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

Answers phones and consults with patients and doctors about customized medications.

Assists in developing compounded formulations.

Uses appropriate resources to ensure each compound’s stability and potency.

Communicates closely with doctors and patients to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.

Counsels patients on their customized medications.

Advises doctors in customized formulas to meet unique patients' needs.

Supervises technicians making medications.

Ensures that compounded medications have been prepared, labeled, stored and packaged properly.

Consistently looks for ways to help co-workers achieve success with their jobs and consistently exhibits a solution-oriented mindset.

Works collaboratively with fellow staff members to ensure the smooth running of pharmacy operations.

Position Requirements:

Education: PharmD or professional degree with RPh license.

PHARMACIST WANTED

As the Pharmacist, you will be responsible for having a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services provided by the hospital, including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
